If you apply for a job with Rosso Balmain or are an employee, we may collect, for example, your full name, contact details (including address, phone number and email address), job title, passport details, employment history and education details, names and contact details of referees, next of kin details (in the event of an emergency) and superannuation fund and Tax File Number details, if required by law, for example, under the Superannuation Guarantee (Administration) Act, the Superannuation Industry (Supervision) Act, the Income Tax Assessment Act and Taxation Administration Act.
If you do not provide us with your personal information, we may be unable to provide you with, for example, the information you require or make a booking on your behalf.
Video surveillance
In order to provide a safe and secure environment for our patrons and employees, our venues operate video surveillance systems. Video footage may be retained for up to 60 days unless required for an investigation in respect of, for example, a breach of security or suspected illegal or suspicious activities, in which case it may be stored as long as required in a secure system. Please note that retaining the video footage is a standard requirement under liquor licences, local government consents, precinct-related conditions imposed by regulatory bodies or government and insurance provision purposes. Venues may also operate integrated facial recognition systems through the video surveillance system if required for regulatory-directed compliance purposes.
Information obtained from third parties
We may obtain personal information about you from third parties, including people who make enquiries or bookings on your behalf, providers of any meetings or event services that are enquired about or booked with us, and people who reference you in posts on our social media channels. Examples of third parties are provided below.
Our online booking and ticketing systems for our venue and events are provided by third parties. We collect the personal information you provide in respect of a booking made via these systems, such as your name, email address and phone number.
Our venue offers Wi-Fi services that are provided by a third party, whose collection of your personal information (such as your name, age and email address) when accessing and using the Wi-Fi services will be subject to the third party’s end-user Privacy Policy. We may collect your personal information from this service provider.
We may also collect your personal information from our commercial partners regarding ventures we operate together. For example, events held at our venues may be conducted with a commercial partner. Similarly, where events are held at a stadium where Rosso Balmain is the official hospitality partner, your personal information may be collected from the venue operator.
If you are applying for employment, personal information may be collected from recruiters or your referees.
Our venue may scan an individual’s ID (such as a driver’s licence or proof of age card) at entry points as a security and safety measure and/or to comply with licensing requirements under relevant legislation or regulations. These ID scanning services are provided by third parties under agreement with Rosso Balmain. Your personal information, which may be collected by these third parties, includes, for example, your name, gender, date of birth, type of ID, identification number and photo and is done so for the express purposes of verifying the identity of patrons. We may access this personal information collected by these third-party scanning services if, for example, identification is required for legal or compliance needs (and under direction from a policing or regulatory body) or for the purposes of issuing a banning order.
Cookies
Cookies collect information that includes the server your computer or device is logged onto, your browser type and how you gained entry to our website. Therefore, when you visit our websites anonymously, details are recorded about your visit, such as time and date, pages accessed and time spent on the website, in addition to the matters described above. This information is used in an anonymous form for statistical purposes and, as such, cannot be used to identify you individually. A cookie cannot retrieve any other information from your hard drive, pass on computer viruses or capture your email address or any other personally identifiable information. Users can also subscribe to the newsletters when registering with any of our websites.
Business-related information

We must meet our legal obligations, including, for example, complying with licensing and regulatory requirements under the Liquor Act 2007 (NSW), the associated legislation and regulations governing the operation of licensed premises in New South Wales, and the local government consents related to our sites.
